Information Security and Risk Management - Two explosive topics for C-Level IT executives across all industries
The 2nd European CxO Dialogue Information Risk Management, taking place on the 15th/16th March 2010, is designed with three streams to bring together experts from finance, industry, academia and government to present and discuss the latest advances and discoveries in the fields of information security and risk management. Topics to be addressed include economic espionage, risks in virtualisation, cloud computing, business continuity management, identity and access management, phishing protection and malware defence, spam protection, IT compliance and Euro SOX as well as outsourcing risks, managed security services and mobile security.
15 case studies from leading industry speakers will present the holistic view that the only way to ensure the security of an organisation is through the combined effort of training and using the right tools to prevent and mitigate attacks.
This year’s main focus for the networking event will be the new framework for enterprise risk management for 'Risk IT' which the IT Governance Institute published in the first half of 2009. This keynote presentation will be an introduction to the framework as well as presenting implementation examples.
Through the case studies, participants will gain a prescriptive understanding of steps they can take in this new environment and learn how to deal with the risks; from security and data integration challenges to service level guarantees and legacy systems.
In addition, IT risk professionals will share their experiences on how organisations are building and managing information security frameworks based upon standards such as ISO 27001/27002, to more effectively manage enterprise risks.
The econique Dialogue brings together top management players, as well as solution providers to share their views and analyse all the current issues on IT security; finding ways to the best solutions and improving quality.
The European CxO Dialogue provides an excellent opportunity to network with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs and senior IT security and risk management professionals from all around Europe.
